New program: EMBRACE Multicultural Mental Health in Tasmania

Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania and the Phoenix Centre is excited to share a new program designed to support organisations implement the EMBRACE Multicultural Mental Health Framework developed by Mental Health Australia.
The EMBRACE project focuses on mental health and suicide prevention for individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds on a national scale.
If you are currently supporting or planning to support people from CALD backgrounds, attending the EMBRACE Framework workshops, facilitated by Phoenix Centre staff, will assist in enhancing your organisation in areas such as:
⭐Cultural Awareness and Competency
⭐Planning to meet the needs of multicultural communities
⭐Providing safe, quality and culturally responsive services
⭐Collaboration to promote mental health in multicultural communities
⭐Developing a culturally responsive mental health workforce in Tasmania
The EMBRACE program provides a forum for leaders from mental health and wellbeing services and supports to join together to apply EMBRACE modules into practice and in the Tasmanian context.
We invite relevant organisations to nominate one of their leaders to join this program. Please express your interest by filling out this form: https://form.jotform.com/240168472048053
Expressions of interest close on Friday 16 February.
